do you think zuckerburg/bezos/gates/musk coming from wealth and having living expenses/fall back options available made the decision to start a company easier - yes of course it did - in fact most entrepreneurs come from wealthy backgrounds - that's why they took the risk and required capital to start off their own venture instead of taking the safe route

it's just an ignorant statement that demonstrates you're blaming your own issues on other's/outside forces and fundamentally haven't yet figured out how the world works yet
Zuck, bezos, Elon, gates etc wouldn’t what they are today if they came from broken, abusive, poverty stricken homes. It’s EXTREMELY easy to build wealth and be successful if you are literally born into it. I can attest from first hand experience. The rich get richer as the saying goes.

Would you be living in a car if you’re upbringing/ support was different?

Give it to the OG poker pros who made something of themselves against literally all the odds

He’s not exactly a fan of Gman.

Great to see Viffer back on stream after 10 years *** I didn't think it was that long.

I haven't watched it all yet but doubt he used any Timing chips.

Hope to see him again as loved the 9 ball corner pocket.

Yeah he played really fast as usual. Wish this trend would catch on. He made a lot of really good folds and one great check back.

I think he ended up using one time chip towards the latter half of the show.

Was he up on the session? And did he say whether he'd come back?

Yeah he won about $27k. Not sure what he said, but wouldn't be surprised to see him again.

only ever seen brief clips of him that were highlights aka outliers of his antics

gotta say seeing him over an extended bit like this he seems really intelligent and like he's got himself together, not the methed out gambol caricature that the community views him as - totally see now how he was quite a crusher and perhaps a lot of his tv stuff could have been image control for when he played off camera

also he looks totally normal, no unhealthy vibes at all

Holy crap, she's a "Pro" as well. Not to sound like a dick, but I've never misread my hand while playing, so these spots are hard for me... I mean how do you not realize you're counterfeited.

I watch the Friday show and the $5/$5/$50 ante show, and the ridiculousness that occurs is eye-opening. But I assume that's because Feldman "produces" these players.

You're lucky to play with like 1 Reza or Krish (Whales on show) in a month, but there's 4-5 of them on every show. MBN to get an invite...

He often played like quite the maniac back in the day.

Routinely opening 15x with like 50% range from every position.

He also overbet all over the place post flop and often.

He got away with quite a bit during those days.

NM seems like he lost $3k. He must have added on at some point.

I was gonna say I thought he either won or lost a small amount like 3-6K
He wasn’t super active, lots of “Miss Old Viff”s in the chat

He played at Twin River 5/10 quite a bit back in 2018. In person he was looking rough even back then.

I think over the course of history it’s the opposite of your claim. But with modern entrepreneurs you perhaps are correct.

I also play pretty fast when I'm playing online. All my river decisions are like 10 seconds max, maybe up to 20 seconds if it's a particularly difficult decision. Helps to get more hands in too. And if someone is taking stupidly long for decisions, I just open up another table or 2 to relieve the boredom (can't do that when playing live obviously). Where is the benefit to taking so long for decisions?

He was up 20-25k with like 30min left and bricked out an 11 outter. Surprised he didn’t shove the river. That 6k river bet was really weird.

Definitely a lot more reserved than his old days.

As per her interview after the session, she actually didn't misread her hand which is even more lol. Apparently, she was hoping Andy would should up with a lower pair that got counterfeited as well (e.g. 33).

And larger, but hey, I was 145 lbs 14 years ago. Happens to the best of us.
