Tune in, see Andy 3b JTo SB vs BTN and call a 4b, come on here and read he's on a downswing.

Hard to think why.

I had to check out after that Ronnie guy didn't take a breath for 90 straight minutes... Just 15 minute story after 15 minute story while nobody paid attention.

What did Viff say?
I have friends that played $5/10 with him at Encore in Boston a few years back, basically said he was there a ton

Yeah, that guy was unbearable! He said that he checked himself into some sort of institution. They asked him if he needed help with drink. He said.. No. They asked was it for gambling?.. He said nah, he's up loads... He just needed a break..

He made a couple of amazing plays where he should've lost a lot more.

I hope I'm not mischaracterising what said.. He was very candid

i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he was in rehab for a white powdered substance. him quitting uppers may also explain his excessive weight gain.

after thinking about it some more it may have been a mental institution he was referring to. maybe both. all speculation anyhow obviously. does anyone have a timestamp of the conversation (or notable hands played for that matter)?

He said something about being manic depressive and bipolar. I only skimmed through the broadcast but he seemed to play quite well. Glad to see he's back and hope he continues to play at these high stakes.

If Andy was on a downswing he's not anymore. It's hard to imagine going on any extended downswing on Hustler live. Aside from the rare games that bring in a bunch of superstars, these games are soft as butter.

can we get a time stamp of when Viffer talks about his life situation?

watching a vod now on their youtube channel, looks like fun game. Viffer looks pretty bad, but it sounds like he's doing ok, he also said "anyone who had money before the pandemic started has a lot more of it now, and anyone who did not is way worse off" - yup, that about sums it up.

Also, regardless of her poker skills, Lynn seems like a genuinly pleasant person to be around

doesnt matter how much money you have when your health is very poor. he looks like an underdog to be alive in 10 years

What do you mean no break? There was 2 minutes of singing in between each story/joke!

Does this really need said? Do you really need to post that you think David Viffer is going to die within the next ten years?

Seeing Ronnie in the game is a snap-turn-off-stream for me.

I get that Hustler is trying to cultivate “stars”, but he’s not it.

A lot of people over and over were talking about how Viff looked old/bad… He was probably 32-36 when he was all over TV in 2006/7/8?
So, yeah, people age from 35 to 50 years old. Shocking stuff

Lol yeah I didn't want to join in that ridiculous commentary buy he looks fine to me for his age. Even in the after dark days he looked older than the people that were actually older than him. He did not look like he has 1 foot in the grave.

From all accounts Viff has lived a hard, rough life all the way through. An OG hardcore gambler out of necessity and opportunity.

Guys like gman and the younger kids are basically rich kids who’ve NEVER had a rough life and will always have a safety net no matter what they do in life

i don't know gman's family background but i don't see how that's relevant

what you stated is true for literally everyone in every profession

do you think zuckerburg/bezos/gates/musk coming from wealth and having living expenses/fall back options available made the decision to start a company easier - yes of course it did - in fact most entrepreneurs come from wealthy backgrounds - that's why they took the risk and required capital to start off their own venture instead of taking the safe route

it's just an ignorant statement that demonstrates you're blaming your own issues on other's/outside forces and fundamentally haven't yet figured out how the world works yet

coming from a background of privilege opens up avenues and gives more margin of error in most aspects of life, you need to learn to accept this and move on
