Side note that some might find interesting. I was once dealing very late at night and David Benyamin bought into the game (20/40 LHE) for the minimum (200). He was playing 4 handed and the game was basically going because they wanted to play with him. Funny enough, he had someone begging him for money which he was insisting was the only money he had. He said he had reached the withdrawal limit on his bank and wouldn’t be able to loan the guy any money until the morning. Ended up breaking the table after winning about 2500 over the course of my down.

I don’t think he was actually broke though, since earlier he was betting more than the 200 he sat down with per hand on UTH. I think he just didn’t want to lend the guy money. lol

But he was never any of those things? I took it as viffer quit because he couldnt stand playing with those types of people (Hellmuth , shaun deeb etc)

You are probably correct. Plus he doesn’t seem to have the wit.

Anyone who can make a living at gambling has wit, and his ‘Nine ball, corner pocket’ troll to Hellmuth on that old PAD episode has me leaning to the ‘being facetious’ side of the bet.

Once again Ray is correct. Dippy Dave (his pool nickname) got ahold of a couple Mil and thought he had all the money in the world. First he mixed it up with some of the best pool players alive, who were giving him big spots, But it wasn't enough and they took him off for a big number. He then took his depleted bankroll to the poker tables and got ironed out again.

I won't comment on his personality, other than to say he is not exactly as described on here. Who you see on TV is not who he is at other times.

I think he's just been on a mini downswing on stream, but obviously he could be absolutely crushing the other 6x a week.
