Nope, they aren't meant to be worn, they are meant to be won. They add prestige to winning a tournament (hence the term bracelet-winner) and there is bascially zero value to wearing them at a WSOP event.
Incentivizing them to be worn at OTHER events might make more sense than what you propose.
