that is a big part of the bad players getting better. and it makes them think during the game about things.

people playing for a million dollars or more and thats more money than they will ever see in their life and they tell their opponents how to beat themselves.
then complain how tough it is.
I'm generally pretty good about this, but last weekend a beautiful girl sat next to me and specifically asked me for strategy advice. Obviously I was immediately putty in her hands. I doubt many here could remain stoic in that spot and just brush her off.

I did still bet against her, at least...

Pretty much for most players if you include travel costs.
Air plane tickets +- 2k usd
10 days in a hotel in Vegas +- 1k usd

Where are you traveling from that flights are that expensive? the vast majority of players from North America and Europe will pay less than $1k for their flight.

But unless you want to stay in a (semi-)dump or far away from the party, you won't find a hotel room for $100 including resort fees and taxes if at least one weekend is included in your stay.

In my experience another reason not to go to the WSOP is that the games in my local area are much better when almost all the local pros are at the WSOP for a month.
