I watched a couple of solve4why videos on youtube. I was amazed at how people can talk a lot without actually saying anything. They're even worse than politicians.

Every hand I watched, there was at least one person using fancy play syndrome and then justifying it with a load of buzzwords to make it sound like they know what they're doing.

This is the lifeblood of poker thought/commentary
Everything is “Fine” and then just start meandering about with buzzwords and pseudo-theory until the person/audience you’re talking stop paying attention

I cold 4 bet the button with 62o, I think it was fine…
My range here, balance, opponent can be wide, position, configuration, board coverage Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

…Ya it was probably fine I guess, good play

If Berkey's purpose for joining the Hustler high stakes game was to gain free publicity for Solve for Why then it worked. His "free" publicity netted him a win of $400,000 in 12 hours work. He was the big winner with Dwan finishing second, and both Ivey and Adelstein losing similar amounts.

Maybe "dangling quasi-depolarized seismic intergalactic ranges" work afterall - at least, when executed in the "meta-realm of condensed multi-segment pools".

Experts like Ed Miller say that a pro's long term profit comes from the mistakes that poor players make.

Can anyone give estimates on how much in big blinds these guys' mistakes cost per hour?

also, shoutout to greg goes all in. guy seems genuine and funny and at least tries to play some sound poker. you can tell he is lacking experience but that will pass with time.

oh and i get it, those guys are vloggers and do not represent S4Y (well in some way they do) but the episodes with MB and Chin were just as bad, and with bad i mean the content, production value was top notch.
