most of these guys never even dreamed of winning so much money, so they probably regard it as a freeroll. who cares about them dusting of a big percentage of their wins?

mumpf, the Wizard of Vegas wrote a blog about how he saw a kid run his few bucks into a thousand and proceeded to lose it all at a blackjack table by going from $5 and $10 bets to $200 and $300. Just because he was freerolling as you say the vast majority of it doesn't mean $1k isn't $1k.

It's one thing to push yourself at the poker table because you have a very comfortable roll for it, but to clearly put yourself in a position where you're LIKELY to lose it ALL in lalex's case isn't smart. I hope he enjoys the journey.
