I see every day here where flippers "grim" or "i do whatever i want on this site i own" etc etc....
Sites do a great job in making changes needed for the betterment of the game, or the action, or the smaller stakes for new players....but wouldnt a series of HU flipping tables attract a demographic that like more of a gambool? Not to mention the hands per hour these tables would do, even for 1$ flips?

Just a suggestion to Scotty or FTPdoug, and a thread for any to add customizations they think of....

yeah i thought tht this was a pure gamble and prob not beneficial for the "legalization/legislation" movement.....BUT it is a niche of poker that people do play, and right now, that flipping market it loaded with scammers, regulate it and the scammers go. sound familiar?

POker is a game of skill but sometimes when I play, i play -ev cause its more fun, and at that time, im playing below my bankroll and for fun. LIke when drunk, with friends, etc.... Even +ev players like to "play for fun" sometimes no? I saw a red ftp pro doing 50$ flips until he had given a guy almost 3 thousand dollars....everything doesnt have to be +ev to be poker right?

Excellent idea, it'll go a long way in convincing people that poker is a game of skill.

I don't see why we need to convince anyone that poker is a game of skill. Legalization of online poker should be argued for on the basis of individual freedom.

Using skill to justify legalizing online poker begs the question of how much skill needs to be involved in a game before it is legal. Any game in which you make a choice is skillful in the long run, even if you don't have a chance at beating the house. Why should being able to win versus being able to lose the least change whether a game should be legal?

If we hold that an individual is in possession of the money he has gained legitimately, we must also hold that all forms of gambling are legitimate. If I am not free to do with my money as I please, except in the case of harm to others, then I cannot be said to own my money.

Its funny how people see pros doing something they want in on the action also. Flipping is -ev, less than 50% for each player due to the rake so anyone who is serious about poker rather than being a degenerate gambler wouldn't really care too much for it. IF people want to flip they can always join a new table with another player and both push all in first hand

Flip tables are gambling and would get a site in serious trouble in the US.

I remember reading a while back that some sites (that don't allow US players) have flip SNGs. Everyone goes all in every hand until there is a winner.
