Starcraft is one of maybe 4 video games I've ever played (pretty much all blizzard games), but I just don't see the draw in SC2. It feels like the same game as SC. I might end up buying it in 2 years or something when its $20.

The graphics while there playing look like old NES games. I would expect better than that in 2010.

thanks for the thread ive never played starcraft 1 and in fact my xbox 360 has been in storage for over a year and glad to finally pick up a game i can spend countless hours on like on a day like today and i brick city everything and want to punch a baby in the face.

Thankfully, my computer probably doesn't have the ass needed to run it (although it's certainly able to do everything else I do on it). Yay, I can live my life (and continue to spew at the pokerz)!

You are wrong, he's right. In Korea big computer game pros have huge followings/fanclubs just like athletes here. They even arrange headsup type matches with hundreds in the audience. Lots of them are girls. (With plasmascreens so everyone can see the match.) The players are payed loads 2 just like athletes. That gaming "pros" have real star-status in S-Korea is not an overstatement. Huge cultural difference i guess :P
