How is beating a billionaire fish relevant to anything? Anyone with basic poker fundamentals can do that.
Many people would dispute it. Because at the end of the day, it's just someone's opinion. There is no precise measure to say that X player is better than Y player. It's impossible to tell. You can give vague estimates, but that's about it. You are trying to pass off opinion as fact.
Anyway, I feel like you are one of Doug's friends or possibly Doug himself. Calling Dwan a donk in another post, saying Doug gets plenty of action from the ladies (how is that relevant?), the extreme use of superlatives to describe Doug's game, the constant shilling of upswing poker. I don't doubt Doug is a decent player, but I think you're going way overboard here.
I am not Doug, nor am I lucky enough to be his friend. He has high standards.
There may be some hyperbole in my posts, but I’ll assess your questions.
Beating a billionaire fish is relevant. You have to be Uber confident in your edge in a game to play that high out of your roll and comfort zone. I’ve seen $25-$50 and even $50-$100 games at Bellagio that I think I could hold my own in, maybe even eek out a profit. And I may even have the buy in, or access to it. However, even if I have a slight edge, it’s way out of my comfort zone and I’m not bankrolled for it.
Concerning your question about Doug’s prowess with the opposite sex. It just shows that, in general, he is a successful person. He’s made millions playing poker ( it disputed), he’s been with a lot of women (so have I. Really the only thing Doug and i have in common), and he has built a successful business with an A+ rating and free of scandal and controversy. Now he’s owning crypto currency. I don’t know the first thing about crypto, but Doug has made millions there too.
The fact is, he knows how to be successful. Failure is not an option. Nobody here respects that.
And I challenge you, prove to me Dean, who is scared to play real players like Jingleman, Hellmuth, and Doug, is not a donkey. Nobody has seen him in a long time. There is no proof he isn’t busto.
