I think what they are about matters.

This is just some rando poster posting total bull**** to attack me a bit more. Especially with the phrase "cant beat micros" which is hilariously false.

The other threads made more sense to me but who knows.

What this is turning into is the group of guys who hate me trying to post as many attacks on me and my company as possible without any merit.

Ok, let´s rephrase the OP then: "if you can't beat micros for significant money, you shouldn't be face of a training site".

Also, the challenge was to turn $100 into $10,000 (not $1000), i.e. significant money for most people.

I mean I get this has been a great week if you dont like me but at some point come on. Not to mention a bunch of stuff in the OP is just straight out of the other threads.
How about you give Vanessa Selbst a call and you two start a "miserable multi-millionaire club"? Thing is, your challenge was build on the premise that you could start from scratch and win millions again, and you failed (or maybe you just got bored or were busy with other things or whatever). I´m amazed that you go on rants like this just because some clowns on the internet (myself included) call you an idiot (which seems like a fair statement).

EDIT:$100 to $10,000 obviously

It was $100 into $10,000, and I still fail to see how turning $100 into $1330 in 40 sessions shows anything other than dominance at micros.

I guess I just feel fed up with all the total bull**** points that get volleyed back and forth against myself and my company with no trace of validity.

Also lol the point of the challenge was to show anyone can win millions.

I don't give Doug even a 20% chance to win. If he's been lollygagging this challenge for years, it means he knows deep down inside it's like trying to climb the top of Mount Everest without GG'in. (video game reference)

Been saying what the OP wrote for years, even offered 10-1 odds to anyone who thought Doug would win this challenge. Really not a good look for a once renowned top poker player struggling with micro-stakes. The fact of the matter is the average poker player has improved leaps and bounds.

Doug, I’m a huge supporter of yours as well as an Uoswing Nember. Was watching videos tonight.

Hey Doug, its not very impressive if you grind it up with mtts as any random donk can bink a few micro mtts. Most people wanted to see you grind it up through cash games as thats the tough part and you are primarily a cash game player and upswing is mainly a cash training site. I suggest that doing it through donkments is cheating and taking the easy way out because your too scared to mix it in the streets with the micro regs. Man up and get in the streets.

Can u invest 100 out of your bankroll for a run it once elite sub? Would be worth the investment you’ll be making more then 25ish bucks a session in no time. I’d suggest anything by Ben Sulsky!

I wish you'll use non-clowny BRM this time around
I don't think there can be many conclusions made when you play PLO and Hu on 18BI one way or the other honestly

And take it as a task in self-discipline instead of having to feel like it first

And wish you can finish this Doug, don't see much wrong with playing when it feels like a job, you'll build your discipline for other areas of your life.

Most people realize it's bad for business, which is probably why you want the thread silenced. Cant you admit that at least? A simple "you know what, my training site has a lot of subscribers now and I'm making sick cash, and making clickbait is more fun than playing micros, so I really haven't been motivated to finish the challenge since it's more lucrative for me to spend my time on something else."

The interesting thing is JNandez stopped his PLO challenge too as soon as he stopped his sun run. I mean he probably continued to make videos for a bit, but it's bad for business to post video after video of you losing. Much better to just stop posting them and offer no explanation and get mad at people that call him out for it on his stream lol

Ah poker...

It's definitely not easy, Doug found out his way too because you are forced to lowtable on stream which inevitably leads to long time stretches where you're very publicly losing at microstakes.

I've done a 40k hand challenge at nl5 couple years back moat of it streamed, ended up with 6bb/100 Winrate, it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, and I was playing nl16-25 back then

There's 0 chance I'd even start something like this when I play low midstakes now

Dear sir.

You publicly air stories of people in poker in their lowest and most vulnerable states and then complain when it happens to you. That is hypocritical.

This type of thing will happen more often to someone with your past. Piss people off enough and they will try to harm you in the future. Human nature. That doesnt make it right. Guess what, you gave them a huge target over the last few years. Many people are aiming for it now.

Again, what goes around comes around.

Hope you understand the cause and effect cycle in motion and your part in it.

Did he make a single false claim?

Also, love how nolifers feel entitled to someone else's time and people with $3.21 in their BR commenting on how someone who was at the very top can't beet the game anymore hahaah, do you feel better about yourself now?

Well, i saw quite some threads started by you throwing dirt on others (justified or not, not able to judge that in every case). Not really sureprising that the dirt thrown sometimes is heading in the opposite direction.

That said, this thread is outright ridicoulous and a pretty poor attempt to slander.

Care to comment on this? And I believe there were several others that accepted the offer allso.

You coming out like this is actually really funny considering that you bash everyone who criticizes your idols staples or veldhuis. What did you say if you don't like them don't watch or follow them?

I suspect p0kercasual is someone very funny playing a character. He's one of the best posters on 2+2 if you don't take him too seriously.

And yeah come on Doug, if you can dish em out you need to be able to take them too, imagine you're in a youtube feud with yourself, and honestly tell me you wouldn't use taking years to finish a micro challenge to ridicule a poker site owner :]

anyone with a mattering opinion would remember the quote: "A grinder today, a legend forever."; where that's from, and why Doug can in fact still beat 1c/2c.

Well put. If this was anyone else in the poker community Doug would have no qualms about making jokes at their expense.

Instead, he's on 2p2 crying for special treatment.

How about people quit bashing Doug. I think it’s obvious there are people here who are jealous of his poker achievements, his success with women, and his ability to create a thriving business.
