Is this 2020? Why is this relevant? Why do you care? Why would you hope not? Are you 12 years old?

He was probably trying to see if Garrett was available. Then he has a chance in his mind and can continue to fantasize about him.

Why is it wrong to hope that someone is not gay, do i have to love gays or smth. I don't hate them, dont care, but do i have to love them? I hope he is not gay means exactly what i said. Why you calling me gay and insinuating that there is something wrong wth that ...so he is gay ok. You don't need to go on rightous you tree huggers, ..you all gay...cool, didnt know there was so many gay poker players on this forum. Funny thing is i have absolutely nothing against gays, like zero, but you people are funny being so deffensive about a simple question, i just asked if he is openly gay and made a comment that expresses my opinion, not hatred towards gay people, whats wrong with hoping that he is not gay..

It's just a weird non sequitur and also makes you seem bigoted and ignorant. That's all.

I really hope my new doctor isn't black. I don't have a problem with the blacks or anything, I just don't want someone I respect to be one. It's not like I hate them. I mean, do I have to love them? You gunna make me love blacks now ya tree hugger? It's not like I have anything against blacks, like zero, but you're being so defensive about my unsolicited statement disparaging a group of people. I just said my opinion that I don't want a black doctor and now you guys are like hating on me for being a racist pos, I don't understand.

Is Garrett a vegetarian? I hope not. Because that's disgusting. God made people to eat their meat and vegetables like a good American.

Is he like the one of the very few guys out there that has 100% of himself? What about Andy? I recall he said somewhere he has all his action.

Does he only play at the bike or does he play in other casinos? Because besides the live at the bike, aren't the stakes that run consistently going to be 5/10 or maybe 10/20?

Also if he were to play the 5/10nl or 10/20nl in vegas in bellagio, how much would he destroy those games? I always thought it was interesting you rarely see him in live cash games televised that is not live at the bike.

I don't buy the "runs good" for that long. For me, he makes the stream. Love his play!

This is a great thread! Never watched that Survivor (or any episode of it) not surprised at the decline in cognitive abilities if people spend all day watching television shows like that. What a joke.

With millennials many of them have adopted a more feminized speaking style. I honestly think it's a survival strategy that keeps them off the "hate" grid in an age where being a proud male is a crime. GA isn't gay at all, but it's so common now among many of the guys I've worked with I'm convinced its a crypsis survival strategy.

There's nothing wrong with curiosity in regards to anything. You should ask whatever questions you like, but many brainwashed millennials have been discouraged from making inquiries about people and life. They despise judging...but then they'll be the first to judge you if you disagree with them!

I don't understand the point of the question, unless you are someone hoping to sleep with him. I mean even if he happens to be gay, how does that have any impact on you, on your life, or on your opinion as to whether he is the best live NLHE player in the world?

Many people are hesitant to acknowledge homosexual fantasies they have because of the social stigma attached, because they may face abandonment from loved ones, and because such an admission can open oneself up to violent assault from certain individuals in our society. Some people who are unwilling to openly disclose such fantasies will subconsciously bring up the topic in unrelated contexts, and I can see how a neutral observer might conclude that doing so indicates some suppressed desires.

I do not care where either you or Garrett fall on the spectrum but hopefully this can help explain why your comment received such a reaction.

I mean, when it comes to a live deep stack NL player-Adelstein is obviously absolute world class. If he is number one in the world or number three or five, isnt that important.

Him+Andy have really made televised poker (Live at the bike) real fun again. Wich is a huge accomplishment in todays pokerworld. I had almost lost the hope for televised games (many streams both donkaments and cashgames is close to unwatchable due to constant tanking, silent tables and pros with zero personality at the tables), but Garrett and Andy have made poker fun again.

in this society being a male is very difficult. even worse if you're a white male. then there's the most persecuted of all: rich white men.

Who will protect the indefensible wealthy white men from.... hearing other perspectives?
