I don't think he has a strong fundamentals to beat current 100bb 6max high stakes cash game on any of the sites. I'm sure he's a great player in the live setting though.

Yea, plus Berkey's name is almost Berkeley. And Berkeley seems like a kinda sketchy place to live in recent years, so, I doubt he could be all that great either, given the suspicious link between these various berkish things.

Then again, Elizabeth Berkeley was (probably still is?) pretty hot. Especially in Any Given Sunday. Everyone talks about her role in Showgirls since she got even nakeder in that one, but in terms of actual sheer hotness, I think Any Given Sunday was probably her peak form.

So maybe he's okay after all, when taking that into consideration.

And thus, by proxy, it would also boost Garrett's stock to some degree, since he's better than Berkey, and Berkey's stock was raised due to Any Given Sunday.

Anyway, basically it means that Garrett is actually pretty good, once you analyze all of it really carefully like that.

Maybe he's been dry on the streams you've seen, but at the table, personality-wise, it's just impossible to dislike the guy.

Andy's fold is probably fine against a reasonable range actually, maybe defend a little bit but folding is usually the right play against 2x pot river there, gman's play was fine-ish until the river, river jam is just a punt without any heart in his hand

I mean if he's 3betting atc (T4o, 94o, 84o, etc) and tripling at a high freq then it's an easy call esp with Qh. garrett can't really go thinner than a set or top 2 for value, and realistically I think he just ends up with air or a flush with this line. and he has a **** ton of air obviously. yeah against a normal range definitely fine to fold, but not when V likes 3betting 0% 3bet hands

gman's flop/turn play was fine if the T4o 3bet is part of a well constructed preflop range. somehow I doubt it

yeah you're not giving him a whole lot of credit, just because he 3bets T4o this time doesn't mean he's always 3betting all his garbage and tripling it man lol, otherwise he'd be broke

obv not every time, but if someone is 3betting a 0.00% 3bet hand yeah I tend to not give them much credit. maybe he has a randomizer and only 3bets T4o 5% of the time. more likely is that he just gets out of line a lot because 2xpotting rivers works

tbf garret obviously knows andy overfolds a bunch so he just looks for these types of spots to pile money in and hope andy didn't make the nuts. I don't think he's 3betting this situation vs the majority of players

The thought process for this hand as I see it:

"I'm just going to out play the guy. I'm going to out play this guy, this hand, I'll re-raise."

No, hes closing the action pre in the straddle if i read the action correctly so is going to be polarized when he reopens the pot, and a hand like T4o that is 0% from any other position now enters as a 3 bet at some low freq.

This is a sensible take. Another dead spade.. just fold. Adelstein is very good. I like watching him on that one in florida. You know, im going to start writing down names i see on TV so i remember them. There are 5 MTT players i cant name that are so damn good. Some pros are very average though.
