It's a bit hard to believe he's that rich. Given that he was staked for his big wins, and likely had losing years in tournaments in 2005,2007, and 2008, he'd have to be getting a ton of money from endorsements+appearances+book sales?+cash games(? maybe not). It's even worse if he owed makeup in 2006 for his poor 2005.

He dresses expensively, parties, and presumably has a nice place, so obviously he has money. It's just hard to believe that his apparent wealth is sustainable given that he was staked for so long, has had bad results over the past 4.5 years in tournament play, and isn't known for being particularly competent at cash games. I wouldn't be surprised to see him broke/scaled down sometime in the next year or two if his results continue to be crap. How long does his share of the 2004 money last?
