Go with ads and people don't have to deal with stupid BS like adding yet another bill per month that when the WSOP ends you have to manage cuz there isn't much content.
Their product will fail cuz they don't understand their customer base. Poker got popular cuz of recs and they won't pay for a monthly fee, they wanna watch and play for cheap and not have stupid monthly bills.
The WSOP is basically dead for the rec cuz of this nonsense. Might as well make the Triton stream the new WSOP lol. At least they get their core audience ie their golden goose. If you think this is about the money of the monthly bill then you are not thinking.

Exactly. Last year I installed the app, saw there was nothing there without subscribing, and immediately deleted it. Who wants more accounts and silly recurring bills? When I cut the cord, I didn't do it to replace one big monthly bill with lots of little monthly bills.
I'll pay for what I want to see, but it's up to the provider to make their pitch. Meanwhile, the 2+2 forums were filled with unhappy PokerGo customers. Who's gonna pay for that?

This is good news. If I hadn't seen this, I wouldn't have considered trying again this year. You just did a better job advertising PokerGo than PokerGo itself.
I guess there are a lot of people like me, and someone over there noticed that their poor business model wss performing ... well, poorly.
