On the PAD episode where Eli made the joke/comment about his multiple accounts, Antonius said that he thinks there should be a way to 'change names every day if you want'. A nosebleeder here once remarked that he'd be in favor of some sort of way where you could play totally anon, no AVs- no names- just stacksize against stacksize.

Obviously, FTP/Stars could make a special 'anonymous' nosebleed stake table where only the stack sizes were displayed.

Think such a table would get any action?

Maybe and would be kinda fun but tbh the HUD stats would tell you it is anyway, so anyone with half a brain would know who they were playing after about 100 hands. But would be cool imo.

It would only get minimal action. Do you think the nosebleeders that doesn't **** money (i.e all other except Phil Ivey and Guy Laliberte) would like to gamble with $100ks of money without any reads? I think not.

this is a cool idea IMO

considering most of the nosebleed regulars (i.e. fwf, krantz, durrrr, jman, etc) all speak to each other on aim and are friendly with each other, i doubt the table would be completely anonymous.

I think that many nosebleed players complain publicly about people knowing who they are but privately I think they crave the attention they get by playing at that level. They want people to know who they are and know how well they are doing or what kind of bank roll they have. Similar to people who have to tell you when they do something nice/charitable instead of doing it anonymously.

In which case I don't understand PT either so please explain this. If every opponent was given the name "x", then their HH's are going to be amalgamated in the database. Of course, I guess you could use session stats in the HUD, but then as soon as the session is over you're back to square 1 again, which I think was the entire point of the OP.

Well, real poker for a blind man maybe. I know when I go to the casino I usually know a few when I sit down at the table. Is that not real? What about in Bobby's room where they all know each other?

Would be cool if someone sat down in one seat, played 100 hands and figured out everyone's tendencies/who everyone was, got up, then went and sat down at a different seat. To everyone at the table it would look like a player got up and left and a new player joined and he would be able to make BILLIONS.
