she hit and runs at 5/10 HU tables on stars

Her commentary for the WSOPME was terrible (anyone see her try to call out EXACT hands for O'Dea's bluff with AQ against Heinz QQ, and immediately become quiet after hands were shown?)

a live pro is overrated - big shocker

FWIW i remember a bunch of people posting that she's had decent online tourney results, maybe that's someone else. if not then shes just like 95% of live pros - has a terrible understanding of poker, gets by on endorsment and soul-owning ******s in live tournaments. nothing new here.

Vanessa Rousso is just one of the many people that had a little something other than ability and skated by on it. She is a (debatably) hot girl playing poker. Its the same thing as pulling out a tiny shark or loudly betating opponents. Its a niche that she has played well. If people wanna hate that's fine but....she's in the game so I'm sure she is ok with what any of us think about how she got there. That is all.

The only way she could have a lower rating is if summary execution were legalized.

I personally think she's a wonderful and talented individual. She has remarkable poker insight.

+1 No1 thinks she's Ivey or Galfond buddy. She's a decent player with more than a basic understanding of the game. She's had some pretty decent WCOOP results and if I remember correctly, she did very well in the NBC heads up championship.

See Antonio fail miserably many times trying to figure out players hands? imo Hellmuth did a decent job while he was there of putting people on some hands.

In b4 an Esfaniari is overrated and Hellmuth is underrated thread?

Vanessa Rousso is far from overrated. She works hard, had a dream, put herself in a position to go after that dream and hasnt done too shabby. She is a student of the game. Any bitterness towards her is rooted in jealousy.

The key to world peace would be closer to reality if everyone had a big sister like Vanessa imo.

I really dont get the constant hate for her on this forum. What for example has jen harman done for the past few years(especially as she has been freerolling all the major live comps with our money)!
