Plan B will hit like standing in line to get into the big brother house. She will get noticed for sure.

I don't think that her being a poker player would be a threat to the bb house. She could go in as mainly a DJ and also a poker player but not make it obvious that she is hiding that she is a poker player, she will be fine.

In the intros on the seat. Hopefully the poker dealer will be first to act and as long as V has position on her then all is good.

Read her bio, was kind of impressed that the 'game theory' wasn't mentioned. Watched the bio video, THERE IT IS! The game theory knowledge is alive and well!!

I believe she will be competitive and she will be an Allie. It isn't good in the beginning of the game to worry much of threats. As long as the social game is high and not make sudden alliances in the beginning, she will do ok. Just play ABC.

I think that if her BB game is like poker where you can adjust accordingly and she choose her spots well.

The twists will happen and adjustments will need to be played out all season so it should be a good ride. The best are the ones that have a good social game and a good read and good endurance with a competitive edge

I predict Vanessa will use her Game Theory knowledge she learned at Duke to best the competition.

The way she talks makes her sound super cocky. Just listening to some of the things she says makes it seem like she thinks that she is just better than everyone else.

I think she will quickly alienate herself and I doubt she will get far on big brother with her personality.

Also, wasen't she married to Chad Brown, then they broke up right around the time he found out that he had cancer? Musta been rough for her now that she has come out as a lesbian.

And how the F did she become a multi-millionare? Did GoDaddy & Pokerstars really pay her that much money?

She and Brown split up about a year after his diagnosis.

For the most part, BB contestants that go far in the game are super cocky. I believe Vanessa does in fact have a shot with her personality. The girl's got spunk.

I would imagine there will be some social battles going on and Vanessa will be right in the middle which will make good TV.

My heart broke for Chad Brown myself as I did a little mourning when he died. He was one of my fav poker players. I remember when he played on PokerStars Play money just to keep his skills up. Now speak of a fighter, it was hands down Chad Brown.

Wouldn't every poker dealer be professional making that statement redundant lol?

+1 i think it is a strong trait for anyone in the BB house to have on a team. The confidence gets people far and long in the house. Those that aren't get ditched the first couple of weeks.

A threat in the game is when people in the house think they can go at it alone. So if they lack in social skills especially at the beginning, they will go home quick, especially if they are stupid and cocky and alone at the same time. It's really bad if they stupid, cocky, alone and they sense that everyone loves them in the house.

Tonight is the night of Big Brother. I am a big sucker for this. I have been watching this show since the chickens. If you know what I mean "the chickens", then you are a superfan too. yeah, i geek out on this crap, i know. It's a guilty pleasure.

I hope to see Vanessa go far actually. Everyone will be passive on day 1. It is all about the social game. It cracks me up when alliances are formed before even the couch talk. It always is a bad move.

I believe Vanessa will just lay low first week. She will play strong but not so strong... It's a good time just to lay back and be in front socially. I believe she will go in as dingy as possible and just make sure she is "liked" at the beginning but not too stupid but not enough to put a bullzeye on her. She is maverick and she will be the gentle one at the beginning.

I don't see how she will hide her arrogance for long.

Have you seen Big Brother? All of the pack there are arrogant. If you aren't arrogant, then you wouldn't make the cut on the show.

They seem to find people with the most unusual combination of interests - like the football guy with the raccoon, and the wrestler with the masters in medieval literature ...

haha i heard that and we shall see how she does. I am not too wild about the crew in there for the first night. No one really stands out to me as strong players. It was kind of disappointing so far. They have done this "twin" twist before it wasn't all the great.

Hope that it picks up. The poker dealer is kind of annoying. I guess we shall see what happens tomorrow. I almost just checked out with the season premier. So far am bummed by the season so far.
