Vanessa is an amazing person. Not just in her game play, but also in how she conducts herself in her everyday life. Go Vanessa!

Vanessa has played a amazing game, a true mastermind but she won't get the votes when it comes to jury.

I would be absolutely mindblown if Vanessa got 2nd to anybody. Every eliminated houseguest has said the same thing when asked about what happened to their game/what's going on in the house: "Vanessa's really really really good." She's very unlikeable but the houseguests won't be salty enough to deny her.

Yeah she is set up right smack dab in the middle. Its perfect no one is gunning for her somehow she is somehow still playing both sides. Pretty brilliant. She has the best chance of winning and I think in the end they wont be as mad at her as say Dan in seasons past or Russell from Survivor. Steve or Vanessa is going to win it for sure. Hopefully Steve.

As a big brother fan from the beginning Vanessa has been amazing to watch. She has played a game unlike anyone before her. It is clear to see her knowledge of game theory has helped her a lot.

What is amazing is how well she has been able to push super aggressive gameplay to get her way but not far enough for it to backfire. Pretty amazing to watch.

As the game narrows down comps play such a huge part so luck is a component but if she makes the f2 she should win. I think she definitely will go down as the strongest strategic female players of all time and one of the top three or four period.

There are big brother fans who think she has had poor jury management and will lose because of that. It's not really a thing. It is a wive's tale. People point to Dan losing to Ian in S14 as an example (pretty much the only example) but Dan lost because he was a returning player who already won not because the jury was mad at him for his gameplay.

Regardless this has been a good season in terms of cast. I know lots of people who wat he big brother just do so to hate do they have no ability to see the difference but thus cast has gotten along remarkably well and almost to a person all understand it is a game. That is actually pretty rare in bb. Usually half the house takes everything personally. So I do think the cast has helped Vanessa's aggressive play style work. She pushes hard whenever she is in a position of power to secure herself in the future. Nobody previously has managed to successfully do this for this long.

People don't hate Vanessa but they do tend to get upset with themselves after they get played out of the game but that has never stopped someone from winning.

Probably most, definitely not all. Got 1st name of divorced husband right, Chad. Also, 1st letter of last name right- B, as in Brown. Not sure how death from alcoholism equates with death from a rare cancer. Except they both died. So, not all of BustoBalla's post was crap. Just most of it probably.

Yes her gameplay has been excellent and hopefully she seals the deal.
As per the poor jury management comment, I agree its bull**** but bitterness is a thing and the cast was extremely bitter against Dan in that series. Russell was robbed of Survivor Samoa when he owned the whole cast too. But I am certain this cast isn't bitter and Vanessa wins if she makes F2.
I do think the strongest strategic female player of all time title still goes to Danielle BB3 though

The criminal justice system is so corrupt it's sad. I'm sorry that Vanessa's family has had to endure that but I'm happy to see her shine on Big Brother. Vanessa is an amazing person inside and out. Go Vanessa!

Not sure what defines a game theory expert, but she studied it at Duke University and used it to cash for over $4million in tournaments.

The thing that annoys me is that she is not very candid in the diary room with her strategical thinking. Like telling Julia going against Austin in Veto was the best move for her and saying "I'm a game theory expert, I swear on Mel's life I wasn't trying to play you and that was the best move for you." Okay well it obviously wasn't the best move for Julia so either she actually sucks at game theory or she was lying to Julia. Which was it? If she went into the diary room and was like "I just totally played Julia" then I would respect her game a lot more, but she doesn't do that.

Also using tears as a defense mechanism is annoying as hell. Dan and Dr. Will and others have had to be cunning as hell to get away with their manipulation. When people call Vanessa out she just sobs uncontrollably and plays the victim until the lines are blurred enough that people forgot what they were even confronting her about.

No offense, but people actually watch Big Brother?

It would be very hard for Johnny Mac to win against anyone who's left because he hasn't won a HOH.

Like her or not and whether she wins or doesn't win, Vanessa will go down in Big Brother history as one of the greatest players ever. I've watched this show since season 1 so I know from being a Superfan what's required to get this notoriety and she has accomplished it. Her only fault has been her emotions and her game play has far exceeded any of her faults. She has masterminded every eviction and won when she had to. Basically, she has ruled the house and figured out everything before anyone else is even thinking it.

I mean Danielle from BB3 was a great player and I'm not taking anything away from her but BB3 compared to BB17 is no comparison. The game has evolved so much and you have Superfans playing in the house now which you did not have in Season 3. For someone to pull off what Vanessa is pulling off in Season 17 is truly amazing. Thus, in my mind, she will go down as the strongest strategic female player of all time and the top 5 of all strategic players both male and female.

I don't like Vanessa's tears and her inability to accept her deceit in the game, however, she has played very, very well. She knows when she is on the outs and she makes big moves to recover. It's quite impressive.

steve is dumb for not letting johnny mac win so he can keep safe ties with the austwins. with blood on his hands, he may not win.

I don't watch the American version of big brother, but I must say it's quite cool that a poker player is finally doing well in a reality tv show. Every single person I've seen has been either average or flat out terrible at whatever show they were on, and I've always found that quite weird.

Russell was awesome on Samoa but even he made a huge mistake in keeping Natalie around till the end.
