It's just a system that allows people to play on these sites which are completely illegal in the US. The site can claim to be a "play money" site meant for fun and then agents sell play money chips to players for real money. It's a pyramid with the site getting a cut, the head of the group getting a cut and then multiple tiers of agents and subagents getting a cut of the rake. The idea being that the feds would have to go after the individual agents who are partaking in cash transactions off the site rather than the "play money" site itself. There was an illegal sports betting operation in North Texas that operated a similar way over a decade ago. When the feds busted the ring, it had raked in a billion dollars in the previous year. There's big money in these illegal gambling operations OP and Mamacita are a part of. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of the participants are not trustworthy though.

The poker apps have been around for awhile.

To name a few. For a variety of reasons, some of us chose to play on them. Money is not handled by the apps, things are done differently than sites like Pokerstars, and these agents exists. They take your deposits, and are supposed to pay you out your winnings. Unfortunately, the door is open for scamming. You have to assume your agent cares more about their reputation than they do about the sum in your account. If you lose, you'll never know if your agent would've scammed you.

As I said before, I don't think it was Vanessa's intention to do this initially. She did pay out 5k one time when requested and seemed legit about this for awhile. However, I think her life hit some issues, and she chose to steal our money to deal with that or simply because it was too tempting. And thus, she chose our money over her reputation and this thread is born.

Yes, and it's also ironic that Mamacita was not newsworthy at all prior to this thread (a complete unknown to most) but now OP has single-handedly raised her profile and made her relevant in the poker world. It's reminiscent of how Garrett made Robbi relevant, and now Robbi just won a Global Poker Award yesterday.

She has played Live At The Bike a number of times over the years putting her assets to use which people did watch. I don't think this thread will be doing anything positive for her profile.

Seriously, I was going to go to the Wynn but played the Venetian. I was half thinking of playing that Satty at Wynn wow. She has some nerve. Then again when you steak 17k you are not a honorable person.

Yes the prices at the Wynn's restaurants can be pretty high... but 17k for a steak seems a bit excessive and dishonest imo.

Word on the street is these “agents” expect a hefty tip in the neighborhood of 10-20% when you win. Given you said you’ve won 300k and the 17k is a “drop in the bucket”, have you tipped your beautiful agent for her services? Perhaps she took it upon herself to tip herself because you had been stiffing her all along while her other clients are making it rain whenever they cash out big. Wouldn’t blame her if that’s the case, she done with cheap ass clients.
