So the leagues are arguing they deserve an integrity fee because they spend heaps of money hiring third party companies to watch line moves and look for fishy things.

Why did online sportsbetting get banned in the first place?

Ask Dollar Bill Bradley

Why are the leagues even entitled to a cut?

Greed and entitlement mean two different things. The leagues however may have the political muscle to demand a cut....

Does it apply to all sporting events or just the big leagues ?

The Court's decision applies to the States' rights to legalize sportsbetting, which should include all sports. However, and this is important, the Court did not "legalize"a damn thing, it just threw out a ban on States chosing to do so, or not.

this **** seems ******ed af

No argument here, it is.

The Borgata announced they will have sports betting the day that NJ gives the go ahead. It was going to be Monmouth first but now they will both take wagers whenever the Governor signs the bill. As the Race and Sportsbook is right next to the poker room you would have to think this will increase traffic flow and should definitely help the games.

IMO If any league wants a piece of the action, they should open betting windows in their own stadiums and arenas, just like horse racing. In Vegas the books sometimes open remote betting stations right by the entrance to their arenas for fighting events.

They could also offer it up in their own app, including in game wagering.

Delaware began accepting sports bets on individual games (we've had parlay betting) at 3 racinos yesterday afternoon. By the end of the quiet day for major sports events over $320,000 was wagered, small potatoes for the Las Vegas sportsbook business but an impressive start for our tiny state.

What is the rake/vig for the standard wager? I hope they are taking the standard Nevada take.
