Im digging the poker documentaries guys! Backed Bet Raise Fold, and though I didnt get to back this project, I just bought the video off Vimeo and am digging it. Im to young to have any part with UB/AP but it seems pretty interesting. Reminds me of American Greed, which is always a great watch hehehe.

I saw this in a prescreening last week. It is well worth the $3/$6. I knew a lot about the scandal and I still learned a lot from the film.

Not very happy with the sound quality. Also the subjects tend to jump back and forth.

I followed the scandal as it was being uncovered here at 2+2, still there were back stories I did not completely follow, for instance what if anything tied Hellmuth to the cheating/scandal. After seeing this it seems clear to me that he has a stake in Iovation and thus has remained silent about anything beyond Hamilton's involvement.

Deeb too comes out looking pretty shady, to see how mnay transfers he was involved with and never has helped the community in any way - someone so close to this scandal who does not provide help or knowledge in anyway has to be unclean..

Edit: I will admit freely that I scrubbed to the end to see my name in the credits. I'm in both the Gut Check and Grover Team categories.

One of the things that is not so clear to the regular world is a lot of the audio from the insiders comes from a surreptitious recording. In some cases that audio is almost un-listenable though we put a lot of effort into trying to clean it up with RX3. The regular interviews are definitely a bit uneven, mainly because we used a single Lav in many different environments. I was the sole camera operator/interviewer/talent wrangler. It's a budget thing. That said, I would be interested in a more detailed description if you want to PM me.

The only thing about the documentary that sucks is that there's no real conclusion or consequence. Great viewing.

I have followed the scandal since the beginning on here, but found the movie to be somewhat confusing as it seems to jump about a lot. Also, there was a lot of commentary when documents and quotes came onscreen that I wanted to read. It's not easy to read one thing and listen to another.

Other than that, I thought it was very well put together. Great job. $5.99 very well spent IMO.
