Not at all shocked by this, for the simple reason of them not actually having them. Their IT Dept. was a complete joke. When I had the chance to interview one of their "administrators" they admitted in so many words that they just had the HH on a desktop computer with a JBOD (just a bunch of disks) and that they didn't back anything up.

A quick update

ElevenGrover has allowed me to view some pre-release footage. I am pretty impressed with the look and feel of the project. I am pretty informed on the UltimateBet scandal, and there were some things included that I did not know.

The people who gave interviews for the film really did a fantastic job, and ElevenGrover did well putting them in the film from the parts I got to see. Overall, I liked what I have watched so far. I was able to provide some feedback and point some things out. I look forward to see how this thing ends up.

I know ElevenGrover is putting a tons of hours each week to get the project completed. If I can think of anything else to add or forgot, I will chime back in. I just wanted to let people know that it is coming together, but still needs more work to be complete.

Good to hear, too -- I've never doubted Scott's devotion to this project, but it still adds some refreshment that he has the approval of the more discerning eyes on the subject. Looking forward to it.

Might be the release date He's a smart, but cryptic dude who's also likely dazed in the home stretch of this death march he's been on to complete this, but that's what I figured it meant when he tweeted it

I can now add myself to the list of people who have seen a rough cut of the film. (Very thankful for that opportunity, by the way.) I don't know a fraction of the UB info that Mookman knows so I watched it from more of a creative and editorial eye -- gave it a visual "proofread," if you will.

Obviously, I can't reveal anything about it but I will say it is incredibly thorough. How well it plays to a more mainstream audience will depend greatly on the final edit but I'm sure the avid NVG followers will certainly appreciate the amount of effort put into this. EG did his homework, and then some.

Entirely missed this thread during the kickstarter, so I'm looking forward to paying for a download of this when it's finished!
