You answered your own question there

those 2 should count as recs

Now we know why Fedor Holz "retired" and is now a rec. What a brilliant long-con!

Judging by his wife's instagram, he's in whatever basement they keep horses in in malibu. He was apparently then also let out to dine at Nobu

nothing like a trip saver $50k at the end to still leave down $1mm

This is essentially a Rec, AKA a player who can put up his money without a backer. And then his pro invitee who he is probably backing.

I like the idea.

Rob Young + Sam Trickett

So two confirmed business men(Saloman+Sun Yaqi) are yet to announce their professional invite. Assuming there is incentive for your invite to do well, who do you think they should choose?

Cates, Trickett, Mikita, Trueteller, Kenney, Koon, Rui, D.Peters, Jungle, and Durr are all gone.

Sam Greenwood? Fedor? Ivey? Foxen?

Bonomo seems to be the obvious name missing. Possible no one wants him there.

I imagine Juanda would be in line for an invite if he wants one.

Based on Triton attendance Greenwood would be a a good guess. Maybe Dan Dvoress or Peter Jetten.

Would anyone invite Ike?

I’m sure Ivey could get an invite if he wanted to play it.

How about Antonio Esfandari, Patrick Antonius of Phil Hellmuth?

Highly doubt abt Esfandiari being +EV in those fields nowadays

Didn't say he would be +EV (although given the 50% rec line-up he probably would be) but as the winner of the previous highest BI tourney he may well want to play for ego reasons.

I wonder if Rick Salomon will play? I think he's played all the previous $1m tourneys and final tables three out of four of them.

Would love to see Rick Salomon play in this. Whenever I have seen him on poker after dark he is playing big pots and ramping up the action. Zero ****s are given with this guy.

Current list of businessmen and their invites (corresponds left to right. Latest invite was Alfred De Carolis with Stephen Chidwick).

btw, I'm pretty sure that's an H&M shirt that jungleman is wearing. He wore it in Triton when winning a ***** event and I'm literally wearing the exact same looking shirt right now. $10 from H&M.

Salomon is already on the list to play, not sure if he's named his guest pro yet (or if he will)

Is the player pool for these million dollar/euro tournaments drying up? The first One Drop had 48 players and the numbers have dropped with each one after.
