He seems a lot better.
I hate that he won’t address jungleman by name though.

Why can't he say how big the games are? Not like he's naming who's in the game?

I am just really curious on his net worth. He's been grinding these "big" games for years.

That’s the intrigue isn’t it.... I’d say he’s doing really well - he looks relaxed , has a top draw Mrs now seems to travel endlessly & appears to have very wealthy connections...not a bad life overall..!

He seems like a completely normal cool guy now, not awkward or dorky at all. Amazing transformation

Seems like over the past year or so he has gotten himself out of mkeup and made a bunch so having the stress of the triads off your back probably doesn’t hurt either

A person who never played poker before could buy dougs upswing lab and be beating 10 NL within a few months. You actually think one of the greatest poker talents in the history of the game couldn't beat it!?!

Timmy Dean once got pissed off at me when I was super drunk and tried to take a picture of him and Ivey at Aria. For some reason they were on a normal table and not in Iveys room. Both Hellmuth and Timmy are way taller than I ever realized

lol at people who say he couldn't beat whatever stakes online. He just said he doesn't play online because the stakes are too small now. I like how he wouldn't say how big the stakes he plays are, what a baller. I miss watching him and Ivey in the 100k buyin games on full tilt years ago though.

At the end of the day, if you lived your life trying to be like Tom Dwan, I'd say you had a pretty good day.

So if someone has never played poker and buys Doug's videos he is immediately $1k down. He will probably win it back tho

No, he's still pretty dorky. Just a little less so than before.

I've seen people transform from shy to reasonably sociable and you can never get used to their transformation, even after many years. You're so used to them being shy and not saying much, it never feels right. You also often find out they have opinions and behavior that you don't like (which was hiding behind the shyness from before), so they often go from being likeable (albeit shy) to unlikeable after their transformation. This is the case with Dwan.

I never really thought he was shy at all, on all the HSP and PAD shows he was usually the one driving the conversation. Whether it was Laden thinks, making prop bets, etc he was always pretty outgoing and social I thought.
A bit on the nerdy side, but whatever.

He was really great in the booth on the Triton Cash
