My friend played in this game. I can't mention his name but hes not famous anyways. I tried to get all the dirt on this game 2 years ago but he said he'd get kicked out if I posted here. Anyways, he lost 800k pot, so the pots get huge.

The amount of cash in the home game should be irrelevant legally speaking. Even though, we all wish we could sit at those tables.

Poker is as American as Apple Pie.

It's time folks come to grips with that.

And if a fraudster lost money in this game, I'm not sure how you go about getting it back... and that would be the case had he lost it in a LV casino also. You can't always get back defrauded investor's money. Sorry. GG & GL

Yeah, that's the whole issue with stolen money or goods, how far do you track it down?

Like let's say I steal $100 from Joe and lose it to you in a poker game.

Ok so now Joe wants his $100 back and the theif no longer has it, so he wants to come after you? Why isn't the thief the one still liable?

What if you already gave that money to Mike, is Mike now liable to Joe because two levels ago someone originally stole that money?

It's a ridiculous lawsuit and basically an attempt to extract money from people with deep pockets.

Sue the people who stole from you morons.
