No I don’t because it’s completely invalid. The attempt to equate the antivaxx movement to the civil rights movement is completely idiotic, delusional and disrespectful. One group was discriminated against for the color of their skin, something they were born with and could not control. The other group is voluntarily refusing to take scientifically proven, safe and effective precautions against a transmissible virus. Knowingly putting others at risk.

No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing a needle in your arm. You’re free to refuse the vaccine if that’s your stance. However, institutions are also free to refuse you because they want to take measures to mitigate the risk of infection to others.

I honestly just feel sorry for you if you’re this confused.

There was even a few (not Tim) in the twitter thread discussing the use of a fake card to enter as analogous to Rosa Parks. At that point everyone just kind of lost interest as it was becoming bizarre and awkward to even engage. Seems like the same is happening in this thread due to a couple posters random ramblings about segregation and obese people.

No. No-one is up in arms because Tim Reilly isn't vaccinated. People are up in arms because the rules stated you had to be vaccinated to play. Many people didn't want to get vaccinated, but did because that's the rules.
