I got this in the mail from Bobby Jindal's office:
"Thank you for contacting the Governor's Office regarding Online Poker.
We take your thoughts and concerns very seriously, and appreciate you sharing your suggestions to better our state. We are working hard every day to improve the future of our state, and ensure that Louisiana remains the best place in the world to get a quality education, pursue a rewarding career, and raise a family.
Please continue to share your thoughts with the Governor, and do not hesitate to contact our office with future concerns you may have."
At the very least I think Bobby Jindal would hear both sides before considering voting to opt out. State legislators are another thing though. Religious right and other gambling interests control the money around here, so I could see an opt out bill reaching Jindal.
