Tuesday, July 9th
Let's all be sure to participate in the community daily action plan. It is an easy, effective way for us to magnify our individual voices. By organizing, we have succeeded in securing virtually 100% of political social media poker discourse. We now have one bill in Congress and another on the way, so let's make our voices heard!
- Let's send Gov. Pat Quinn (D-IL) & Rep. John Campbell (R-CA) prefilled tweets in support of HR 2282, the online poker bill: HERE and HERE
- Let's send today's prefilled tweets to the DoJ asking for action on Full Tilt Poker player remission: HERE and HERE
- Let's make and like pro-poker comments on a new Venetian Facebook post. The comment pertains to the Fourth of July, so perhaps suggestions on liberty and American values: HERE
- Let's recruit participants by retweeting & favoriting today's action plan HERE, HERE, and HERE, sharing it on our Facebook walls HERE, and sharing it via Google+ HERE.
- Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others. Thanks for participating!

The Senate Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, and Insurance announced a hearing on Internet poker and Internet casino-style gaming. The hearing, entitled “The Expansion of Internet Gambling: Assessing Consumer Protection Concerns,” is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. ET. Let's take action to back this important hearing!
