When FTP was closed down, there was reportedly about $3.5 million worth of items in the points store. These thousands of items are now being auctioned by the Jay Sugarman Auction Group on August 2nd 2014. (Scroll down that linked page for pictures and more details).

The list of sale items includes 7000 mouse mats and 4000 red pens!


If you'd rather buy a job lot of poker books ("by famous players such as Howard Lederer", lol) you can buy 45,000 of them on ebay. Bidding starts at $89,999.99. Don't all rush at once.

If I had 90k sitting around I'd be all over this. Turn around, ship them to Amazon, and make 300%+ profit with minimal work.

lol that somebody who worked for Full Tilt actually bought 1500 FT luggage tags. I guess they figured poker players travel and want to alert every scammer in airports or hotels that they play poker and may have lots of cash on them.

no wonder FT was bankrupt when the DOJ finally got around to shutting this ponzi scheme down.

I'm also shocked that they had a supply of over 5,000 cat stress relievers.

laptop bag. velour robe and the desk globe were the only items that have survived time for me.

The bath-robes were/are the nuts. I got one way back and it's still as good as new.

I had an order for a second one in when FT went bust - never got it, but the points for it were restored when PS took over. I'd definitely pick one up if I could get it at a reasonable price.

I can't imagine these items selling. Even at 2 or 3 bucks a piece, actually moving them seems impossible. I would like to know what the breakdown is for quantities on the books auction. Having a 10,000 Harrington books isn't too bad, but if it's like 10,000 books on Lederer's Tells it's horrible.
