The young Chinese guy Wesley that plays on the Hustler stream games has been getting quite arrogant on Twitter saying that he's won 2 million in the last 7 months from poker and talking about how poker is easy, also calling out pros saying they're poor.

I liked the guy when he first starting playing and enjoyed watching him and the funny stuff he says... but now I think the guy is getting a bit out of control...and someone needs to tell him to pipe down. What do you guys think?

No idea if he's up or down but he's right about most poker players being poor

It’s extremely common for players on a heater to let it get to their head and forget about variance.

His second tweet is clearly calling out the “armchair pros” and stream “chat pros”, not actual professional poker players. There were probably a bunch of wannabe poker crushers talking **** in the stream chat like usual and he’s responding to that.

First tweet is a bit egotistical but actually kinda true. Second tweet is basically factual. Don’t really see anything too OOL here.

Either there’s some language barrier going on, or you are super bad faith. His second tweet is clearly giving context to his first tweet. He is basically saying that people call him a whale, but he has been profitable at poker in a short time. Basically saying people don’t respect his skill or understand his edge. They assume because he is new he doesn’t understand poker. I agree he is arrogant, but he is not calling out the pros he is playing with, rather being sarcastic.

Nothing wrong with either tweet. First one is arrogant but true, also seems like hes bad at english so it probably comes off even worse than intended. Infinite bankroll makes it a ton easier to play high stakes poker. Second as others have pointed out is clearly aimed at "chat pros" talking ****. Just like people on here calling him a fish on a heater while themselves playing NL 0.1/0.2 on the commute to work.

And even though he doesnt talk about other pros, the people he plays against do suck. Most people who play poker live suck. Hes probably not even that far behind them in skill if at all. Of course he is far behind players like Garrett but Hustler Live has the biggest whales playing constantly like Armenian Mike, Krish etc. Ironically once you have the bankroll to play big live games its easier to win at the games you play than if you had to grind your way up through the low stakes online games.
