So a coin flip a bill will be approved by next year? I have gone from optimistic to not sure anything meaningful will happen anytime soon. If it don't happen now you know it won't during a presidential election year so then we are out 2 years...just the more I think about it the less likely it is looking to happen over the next couple years unless something happens now.

Because he is obviously getting something he wants out of it. Likely to be a bill that puts teeth in UIGEA while clearly defining poker as LEGAL where regulated by US.

Sports bettors will likely hate this legislation.....but hey....I don't bet on sports.
