He just bleeds off chips for a few hours between his 20-45 minute breaks from the table and from time to time doubles up then tuns into Broomcorn's uncle. About a year ago I was in a 5-10 game with him at Venetian and he had doubled up to about $1800, and had his chips racked up to go for the previous 20 minutes when he raised UTG to $35, got a call, and an aggressive guy with ~$1500 reraised to $145 from mid position. BM hem's and haws about how huge his hand is for about a minute, shows his cards to the guys next to him, then folds and walks away from the table, saying he had kings. Other guy folds, and we laugh, and 3 people at the table verify that he did, indeed just fold kings.
Anyway, the legend continues, and grows. I heard from two separate sources that Bedazzleman won the BBJ at Red Rock Casino yesterday for about $40k. Can't wait to hear how skillfully he played the hand and somehow made the BBJ happen by his own brilliance.
That said, slightly interesting/funny experience with Bedazzleman a few weeks ago at the Wynn. I move to a new 2/5 table, empty seat with chips in front of seat 2. 10 minutes later guy comes back, it's Teddy. He goes on for the next 45 minutes to anyone who will even half listen to him about himself, how he's one of the best players in the world, how he runs a music prduction company and is teaching people how to rap, etc, etc. It takes some serious zen for me to stick it out in the game and not say anything, but then, as he is folding to a completely standard raise, this exchange happens:
Bedazzleman: Do you know who you're betting into? I'm one of the top 5 players in the world.
Daliman: How can he NOT know, you say it every 3 minutes. (Table chuckles)
BM: Oh, you're funny huh? Well, I'll tell you something I DO know, for sure, and I'd bet a million dollars on it; You're down lifetime at this game right here, poker.
DM: Well, you'd lose that bet.
BM: No, I know, you're down at poker lifetime.
DM: OK Teddy.
5 minutes later I win a 4 way allin pot for ~1900, maybe 1300 profit.
DM: Teddy, NOW I'm up lifetime at poker. (Table chuckles again)
I tip dealer $3
BM: Man, how you gonna drag a big pot like that and just tip $3? If I drag a pot like that, I tip at LEAST like $12.
DM: If I tipped $12 I would no longer be up lifetime at poker.
Teddy laughed along with the table at that, but was pretty quiet for the remaining 10 minutes he was at the table before silently racking up and leaving.
