So him get up in someone's face at a cash game at the Rio the other day. When the floor was trying to entice ppl to play a 20/40 LHE game they would say "featuring the Iceman". Also I was surprised at how big he is - I knew he was a big dude but he is a BIG DUDE

today, ice man was directing traffic in the men's room outside the pavilion:

"gentlemen, there are tons of stalls. don't nobody need to wait for the urinals. keep going to the stalls. don't nobody need to wait."

Guy seems like a friendly simpleton who struggles for cash. I don't get the hate, is it because he talks himself up and comes off as arrogant? It shouldn't bother people.

TBH I'd rather have a friendly (albeit simple) guy like him as a friend than any of these sarcastic know-it-all high IQ types we see snobbing around on the internet.

I played with him twice in the last few days in the 20-40 lhe, hes actually pretty friendly and somewhat funny. He always has his special pillow on his seat and like 5 of those phone chargers on one of those little tables next to it. Plus he gone from the table about 80% of the time. He can def come off a bit abrasive sometimes tho with his aggresive marketing strategy. The other day when he won a small pot off me he says, mostly to the guy next to him "im one if the top 5 best players in the world, u didnt know that?" hilarious

Yeh its pretty funny that mark275 is one of the most disrespected posters on this forum yet he still posts in every thread as though we care about what he has to say

there's hate cuz dude is a known hustler, he is 86'd from most (many, whatever) major card rooms...ive ran into him a couple times and think his "swag" is funny and entertaining and he does seem like a nice guy...but each time i see him, i think of his scams...to be a good hustler/con artist, you need to be nice, funny etc... to get people to lower their guard and trust you...so I took my couple run ins with him with a grain of salt, in that he prolly isn't as nice a person as he makes himself out to be...

I was playing 5-10 at the RIO yesterday and hear a loud mechanical sound woosh behind me like, I could feel the wind off its motion and it was uncomfortably close; I turned around and saw it was "Iceman" on his scooter going like 40 effing miles an hour in between the tables knocking into chairs and grazing people as he sped through the crowded floor. 300 lbs @ 40 mph, if I would have gotten up from my chair, he could have easily broken my leg. Someone yelled at him to slow down and he just laughed. He swung by my table again and was trying to sell some discount passes into a night club to some Russians, then he sat at an empty table next to mine and started to beat box and rap into his phone. WTF. The fact that WSOP continues to use his moniker as an attraction when trying to spread the 20-40 game is a joke. IMO they shouldn't even let this guy in the building unless he barred from hustling everyone in sight, puts a governing device on his scooter and learns to respect people's personal space and eardrums. I mean seriously, shouldn't he at least be made to get a permit from Caesars to sell his junk? Whatever, WSOP, please rethink your association with this person.
