Teddy "IceMan" Monroe sightings?

I've only played with him twice that I recall.
The first time was a LHE game years ago at the Borgata. It was a slow night, so we were playing 60/120 short-handed (I think there were 4 of us), and he took notice because that game had dried up at Borg years prior, so it was novel to see it run again. By this time, he was living in Vegas, but he still knew a lot of the AC grinders and floor staff who had been around for a while. He ceremoniously took a seat one to my right, assuming the player directly to his right was the stronger competition. Now, I'm an obviously-gay white guy with a solid, super-LAG LHE style, and sometimes I used to really flame out at the tables if I thought it would tilt straight men with something to prove. That night, I was wearing a Jeremy Scott for Adidas track suit with benjamins printed all over it, matching kicks, and a gold chain around my neck. Ice sits down and starts taunting me, "What the *** is this?! Who the *** are you? Don't you know I OWN this game? Don't you know I'm the best LHE player of all time? Do you wanna see what REAL bling looks like, son?!" But I'm good at the **** talkin, and I start dishing it right back, so we start to verbally spar to the point where the rest of the table (all regs, who all knew both of us) started getting mad uncomfortable, worried that **** might get kinda out of hand and ****. Well, right then, the dealer down changes, and a well-known, very well-liked, and exceedingly beautiful and competent black, female dealers gets in the box... but not before actually walking halfway around the table to kiss me on the cheek and saying, "Good luck on my down, baby." Now y'all know that's not even normal for a bigger game, even if it's short-handed, and even it's just regs, but I gots it like that, okay baby?! Well, Ice just about passed the *** out on the spot! The other regs started laughing, saying, "Ice! Don't you know that's Gay Will?! He the only mf in here who is as crazy as your crazy ass!" Ice tells me, "Get up, man. Get up out your chair, man!" I do, and he gives me the respect-handshake-fistpump, tells the dealer to deal him out, and then orders a $2,000 bottle of Cabernet for the table to share (I don't think he drank any of it). We drink, we laugh, he ends up playing, like, 3 pots in an hour, then he racks up and leaves with his wife (who was also charming). He never asked me for anything, never suggested that I tip on the wine--none of that sht.
That mf cool as hell. And all the haters on here need to check all that bllsht.
And the racist sht in this thread is ****** disgraceful.
I've got respect for ANY MF'in grinder who keeps it movin like a U-Haul as long as Ice has been doin it, and MAD-respect for anyone who can do it with that much style and panache. I'd want him in my game ANY day because unlike a lot of "pro's," Ice understands the old-skool principle that you gotta make it fun for the fish to keep 'em coming back for more. Entertain their asses while you take their money, and they'll keep producing for you. Act like an *******, and you've skinned the proverbial sheep.

This is a great story but I'm not sure it puts him in a good light. He was a jerk to you for no reason but once he realized you where a reg he's like sorry let me blow $2K on a bottle of wine. He sat out on the game and played like three hands. It seemed like he had some money to throw around back in the day but is now grinding low stakes.

Played with the man at Wynn 1/3 yesterday and gave him a bad beat (sorry Ice).
Prior to my hand with him he had played maybe 2 or 3 hands in the past hour. One he was BB and the other he limped with 88 and turned quads and the pot was $7 until he bet $20 on the river, got min-raised and the Ice Man shoved (other guy folded).
My hand against him, he raised to 15 from late position
with about 200 (about what he bought in for). I called from the blinds with 5
4. Flop was 10 5 2 rainbow I checked to him, he bet 25 and I called. Bad call, but I was running hot and how can I resist sucking out on the Ice. Sure enough, turn was another 5 I checked he shoved I called. He had AA. He didn't complain too much about the beat (I did say that was ugly) and rebought for another $200. I noticed that when he rebought at the cashier he didn't give cash but signed something.
