They should allow pee bottles during live tournaments.

I didn't see any description and I don't speak the language. Based on you using my quote I assume these people are homeless and getting quickpay transfers with a sign to indicate how?

How long before they start asking for crypto?

That's exactly what they are doing. Begging for crypto with QR codes.

LOL. No way. How do the homeless elderly know more about crypto than me?

This thread just goes to show you never know what might happen in NVG. We start with a weird thread where the OP lumps together two completely separate topics into a simple one sentence post with random capitalization and a bunch of Twitter handles as if it was a Tweet, with an exclamation icon presumably denoting this is a really important topic, and we end up on elderly people in Japan panhandling for crypto with QR codes.

LOL Odd thread indeed. I gotta say the elderly panhandling for crypto is infinitely more interesting to me than tournament poker.

It's called Lifeline service. It has been around a long time (I first heard about it in the 1980s. That's why I hate the phrase "Obamaphone" so much.), but gained massive popularity with the advent of cheap cell phone technology. It started out as a way for impoverished senior citizens and disabled to have a cheap or free landline.

Well it's extremely ****ed up but there's a good chance that they've been kidnapped by gangs and put on the streets under close supervision.

agreed. thread needs title change imo...

also i think this idea could really help the poker community, ya know the whole trickle UP effect. those players who would normally scam and steal to continue their poker career could just start to panhandle and prolly make more than mid stakes regs.

smh lol

I had someone come up to me their other day asking for some crypto. I was like is this some dystopian cypher punk future. He didn’t even have a wallet to hold any of the ripple he was asking for.

yeah I've watched too many movies on this. Ok. Why don't you google "forced begging." I can't find the exact article but there are plenty about forced begging from a few years ago. This seems to be a common scheme with organized crime in undeveloped parts around the world.

You do undestand that coughing usually means you are sick? Most of us don't want to get sick.

I guess you'd prefer people not to do that and just cough in your face?

Do you live in some 3rd world nation where you don't have tissues or like shirts with sleeves? And yeah no I don't want that person coughing to my face. He/she could just turn his head and cough away from the table.

You do realize you’re touching chips that have gone through thousands of filthy and sick hands while sitting in a casino where the air conditioning circulates all the germs that you can think of around and around all day? Yet you’re complaining about a player coughing into their hands and then - ermahgerd - touching the cards?
Hilarious.

I suggest you stop breathing next time you walk into a casino, good way to avoid germs and also a win for the rest of humanity.
