i've only a limited understanding of the whole thing, but UK Gambling Commission's website says "application in progress". maybe the paperwork is done but it's also possible, that amaya and the ukgc are still 'negotiating'. besides that, we shouldn't forget, that amaya is also in talks with the nj dga.
anyway: i've read several comments/opinions about the situation, but personally i don't think it's that easy to say PS operates in CAN/AUS/RUS on a grey market (and therefore has to leave). PS will fight for every market and they have law experts for different markets. it was always unclear (especially for AUS & RUS), if PS would stay 'forever', so this threat is not new at all.
one last word about the dealine of november the 1st. when amaya left the greymarkets (turkey and others) at october the 1st, some speculated this is because the licence in uk. but due to the legal challenge from the GBGA vs UK regulation it was known before (around sept. 25th), that the new deadline is november 1st.
so either leaving AUS/RUS/CAN wasn't necessary for the license, or amaya is indeed still negotiating. otherwise it would make more sense, that ps/ftp would have stayed the additional month on the 'grey markets' or would have pulled out in AUS/RUS/CAN on the same date
