To be honest, i haven't deposited on ACR yet which was what i was going to do, i sussed out the support, how long it takes to reply, how intelligently they reply to my questions. They seemed okay, and i was satisfied with the answers. I planned to deposit via Skrill, the only negative in comparison to bitcoin is it takes an extra 1-2 days to withdraw, but they were telling me they were getting withdrawals out in 24-72 hours. So personally, i would choose ACR if you want to choose an unregulated website, but this is from my experience only.
It's pretty much undesirable all round, i don't know much about ignition, i hear mixed reviews, some good some bad, its really a gamble when you play on these sites. Hopefully it all gets regulated soon!!

I'm thinking of just playing at starcity altogether but i'l post if i play on acr and let you all know what it was like deposit/withdrawing.

Before the bill passed you needed a Euro bank account to play on Winamax. I think you could deposit with skrill but the only way to withdraw is to a Euro bank account. Not sure if you can register with an Aussie address or need a Euro one. Assume nothing has changed since the bill passed.

Just email them an ask, say you're travelling to Europe and want to play while you're there etc.

At Starcity are you able to make a net positive hourly with $5ph time charge and 10% rake? The below games are they actually beatable, im thinking the 2/5 would be better than 2/3 as the rake would be a lower % of the overall pot

$2/$3
Buy-in: $100 to $500
Rake: 10% Pot Capped $10 | Time Charge: $5 PPPH

$2/$5 $10 Straddle
Buy-in: $500 to $1,000
Rake: 10% Pot Capped $10 | Time Charge: $5 PPPH

Ok so I'm new here although been reading the threads a long time.

Quick question, so can I play on acr and safely deposit and withdraw with australian accounts and address ??

If using VPN, I understand that Stars is able to track you down, but how likely it is that they will actually ban you? I have read that US players VPN quite a bit and seem to not have their funds seized nor accounts locked. Obv if you hit big they will be more intrested in seizing your funds.

Could it be that some smaller sites (unibet, betsafe f.e.) are not that good at tracking down VPN and I might be able to play there without worrying too much?

I understand that it might not be the best place to ask/advertise this but cant really find any answers online that I would trust.
TIA

Yes. I have deposited and withdrawn using Neteller. Withdrawal was virtually instant on a weekday which surprised me. You will have to send them a scanned copy of photo id and utility bill for address to be verified before you withdraw.

Im not sure if this is such a great idea, check out the below thread

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/5...g-vpn-1119573/

The problem is you will always be playing scared as you could have your account frozen at anytime, maybe best to use ACR or similar sites

If anybody has some VPN success stories would love to hear them

If the site is willing to bend the rules to let you play I am sure they will follow the rules to keep your big score and not pay you out.

I wouldn't try this with any amount I am not comfortable losing to a ban.

For what its worth some of my US friends play on non-Stars but also non-US sites with a VPN (and some do on Stars but usually with a more sophisticated teamviewer with legit IP overseas style setup)

As far as I know Stars is the only site that actively hunts VPNers, but break the TOS of any non-Australian facing site at your own risk they can and will seize your funds if they catch you.

The live cash games are beatable with table selection but the rake's going to eat most of your hourly unless you're playing at least 5/5 or higher.

As soon as you play with a vpn on stars they will ask for ID etc whether it be sooner or later because they actually single out vpn users and why they reluctantly allow the use of vpn you would have to prove to them you not in a banned country. I find it highly unlikely you wont be asked at some point, however i would do more research out of this thread if you are deadset....

I havent played at starcity properly for about 2years, but ive always preferred the $500 table, so many gamblers there if you were only half decent you would probably make a fair bit, though the time charge is an annoyance, was actually one of the reasons i played stars more frequently.

I just put a $100AU/$80US into Ignition via a credit card, simple as that.

Is there a catch with this? No Bitcoin

It says they have bitcoin..

I deposited $250 last week, played a few sessions.. withdrawal process looks tough as I dont have a bitcoin wallet, which looks the easiest eay to withdrawl, but I might look into this.

Only problems I have is they dont have synchronised breaks, so hard to have 5 mins rest if ur playing a few tourneys, and 3 or more tables dont fit into your screen very well, so hard to multi table,, but its better than nothing..

I like PLO/NLO8 and there are quite a few tourneys on there for these..

Yeah it has Bitcoin but I'm more than happy with cash. Not sure of the withdrawal process though, I'm guessing it will be similar to PS.

You can't withdraw directly to your bank from any site now in Aus hence why people had to make neteller/skrill accounts to get money off stars before it exited.

For the people confused with bitcoin it's quite simple you make a Blockchain account (which acts as your wallet) and ALWAYS withdraw from sites to Blockchain + (always keep your $ in Blockchain until you're ready to cashout).

Next you make a Coinjar account this is where you send your bitcoins to from Blockchain (your wallet), coinjar accounts take 1-3 days to verify which involves taking a photo of the front/back of your drivers license and a bank statement (you can screenshot your bank statement and crop it on paint) and it works fine (this is how i verified my account).

Adding a bank account on coinjar only takes 1-3 days also and they will send you 2 small amounts of $ which shows up in your chosen bank account and you enter these amounts on coinjar to verify your bank account. (MAKE SURE THE BANK ACCOUNT YOU HAVE CHOSEN HAS A B-PAY METHOD) as this is how you fund your coinjar account if you plan to do so.

For those depositing with bitcoin you fund your coinjar account send it to blockchain and then deposit onto the chosen site.

Stars never accepted bitcoin, not sure what you're referring to as ''yea but using ignition just like pre legislation'' some sites we can still play will accept different deposit methods but we can no longer withdraw funds directly to our bank from any site in Aus. Using bitcoin withdrawal method is far better than neteller/skrill as the fees are high and you stand to lose a fair amount of your $ once it actually reaches your bank.

Pretty certain this isn't true. That was just stars, there are still come sites that will do wire transfers etc.

I withdrew from Stars directly to my bank account no problem. All I had to do was provide ID verification and they reviewed my game play.

Get on ACR lads. Lots of punting! I just took down a tourney for 0.5 bitcoin! haha feelsgoodman!!!

I could not wire money from stars/party to my bank well before they exited, there was even an email from stars some time before they left stating the changes within Aus had made them change the withdrawal options.

What sites in Aus now can you currently withdraw directly to your bank? actually curious.

How long ago did you withdraw? sounds very strange because I did not have any options to withdraw directly to my bank(as did others I knew in Aus) once it was changed and I used to wire money directly to my bank for years (my account was fully verified).
