Looks like I have a shot at being in a Day 2 as we head into the deadline (the 50r plo, currently 39/187 with like 10 levels to play still on d1)

It should finish on the 10th Stars time, but it'll be the morning of the 11th Australian time. Hope i'm fine anyway. There are other Aussies in the field, you'd assume it would be on Stars to now allow registration if D2 overlaps but I don't have that much faith in their organising. Pretty sure this tourney will be done in time though. It would be pretty sick to win a WCOOP as my last tournament on Stars.

Also, our very own JoeyDel just got himself elected to the Sydney council which is pretty awesome, I think on behalf of everyone it's safe to say we wish him well in his political career

I got 1outed with 20 left and first place was 15 grand inc bounties and i was coming 5th.

Ouch. I haven't quite been 1-outed yet, but I'm sure it's in the post. I have been getting 2-outed/runner-runnered/coolered like it's my damn job though.

It's not looking like I'll be going out in a blaze of glory like I had originally planned.

End of a era

Hopefully I get a nice birthday present on the 14th in the form of the committee coming out with recommendations that we support and we can work towards getting them enacted and making this temporary

Not sure i'm just assuming midnight Stars time is the cutoff date but no idea, I don't really trust them to do it on schedule/effeciently anyway

Ended up getting about 90th in the WCOOP for a few hundred if that's the last tournament I play on Stars that isn't too bad. I'll probably fire a few turbos tonight though.

I emailed stars and asked if OZ players can play in Todays 2 day event they said no if you make day 2 you will be refunded your buy in Tomorrow .

The lobby has touneys running up until 11:45pm ET, so I assume we will have until midnight ET before we are locked out. Don't quote me on that tho.

Seriously? So even if you make the money they still just give you back your buyin? I would've thought they would at least let you blind out. So basically don't play any tourneys that are likely to finish past the cutoff. I would be pretty damn pissed if I was at a final table and then just got refunded my buyin. Surely they wouldn't do that, would they?

What time is the cut off? Is the Sunday majors okay to play tonight?

Don't play anything that takes a long time to finish and certainly no wcoops. Amaya probably won't make it right and will just refund you even if you have a million chips

I just sat 40/80 8game with the last $500 in my stars account (I withdrew 5k I had there earlier in the week), got it in second hand and lost. Fitting last ever hand on Stars I guess in the most irresponsible degen shot take i've ever done (which given it's $500 is actually a pretty good thing for me I guess - I always wanted to take a shot at a big mixed game and I did get it in good, shame I didn't get to play a real session)

On the plus side my last MTT ever was cashing a WCOOP on Stars

Anyway, Ignition, Monster, Master, ACR, SWC etc await us. So does the committee report on Sep 14

I'm off to bet on NFL and stuff. See you guys on the 14th so we can take the next step

Well stars still accepting Aussie's just played a $30 spin and won and opened a chest and got $10 cash guess they forgot to press the downswing button on my account. Also see quite a few Aussie's playing in tournaments ATM so axe must fall tonight
