Anyone who watches televised basketball or American football (or water polo, for that matter) is used to it, since it's common practice to show the play/shot clock on screen. This is simply the poker equivalent of it.

To me, it would be more annoying to have the display appear and disappear while you're watching. That would be far more distracting.

High level poker for sure but ffs these guys are so dull to watch... its seems every new guy that pops up on the scene take the staring thing to a new low.. Foxen, Imsirovic the latest culprits...

Do we honestly think they are gaining advantages from behaving in this way..?
