This happened at my brothers table, a 2/5 cash game in KC. The small blind had it folded around to him and was asked to chop by the BB. The SB looks at his cards and says "no". The SB calls, the BB immediately says "all in" and the SB calls instantly. SB had AK, BB had AA, BB wins.

One time a woman playing free pub poker called on the river, last to act, with quad 5's, she had pocket 5's. She is a regular so I asked her why she didn't raise and she said, "I knew he wasn't calling." I told her it was insane not to raise and I was labeled the ******* for the night.

playing 2/4 lhe at the rock in NH(thought i'd give it a try,much closer than foxwoods).this older mafioso dude in a full mafia style track suit is sitting to my right and i'm next to the dealer,so i have nowhere to go.he's coughing all night and has this old disgusting tissue he keeps re-using.let me add he smells like vicks vapor rub/tuna fish ,so i'm tilting hard due to his harsh old person stench.

he pretty much calls all the way all night no matter what he has,so i catch a boat on the river with a flush on the board.i'm getting ready to bust this guy and get rid of his putrid stink. we continue to raise/reraise eachother when i proudly display A's full of 3's,he slowrolls me with quad 3's revealing only one 3 at a time.all the while coughing on me.

seen a dude play with gloves on, also 2 nights ago i saw a guy tilt so hard he limped TTT9 utg in O8.

hmm. one time at the wynn an old man was asking me and another guy about our tattoos, kind of casually, then said aloud, and i do mean 'loud', "i wanna get a tattoo. you know where i wanna get a tattoo? once i was in a 10-20NL game at Bellagio and there was a raise, then a 3-bet, then the original raiser 4-bet it, the 3-bettor min raised it, the original raiser min-raised it, then it was raised again, and finally the original raiser shoved AI and before the other player called he said "if we both have aces do you wanna chop, i've got aces, and i'm calling".

i've seen dudes order whores plenty of times.

i saw a guy realize he was missing a $100 bill after about an hour ($40-$80 mix) and the dude next to him hands him a hundred and says he found it on the floor a half hour ago....

there used to be this dealer at the wynn with a magic pitch, something like i'd never seen before. he dealt so fast but didn't pitch the cards, he almost just flicked them, and they hovered perfectly flat and landed softly in front of you...it was like he used to be a magician or something. i always tipped him well, he was fast and effortless, barely even turning his shoulders to pitch to the 1 and 9 hole. that was something to see.

but i think the strangest thing i see at a poker table is when a player loses a hand to an inferior player and goes on to explain why the losing player played the hand bad. this really is the strangest thing to me. you know, when someone puts their money in bad against someone else, and then they get told why they shouldn't have done it.
