Strange Stars Sunday Million Payouts? Strange Stars Sunday Million Payouts?

Just looking at the payouts for the $10mil GTD Sunday Million today.. and something looks odd. I'm not a payout whiz, but this is what I noticed. The tourney pays 7682 spots with the first paying spot being $521.16. The payouts are like this:

5473rd to 7682nd: 2209 spots paying $512.16
4123rd to 5472nd: 1349 spots paying $625.39 ($113.23 more)
2773rd to 4122nd: 1349 spots paying $729.62 ($104.23 more)
1873rd to 2772nd: 899 spots paying $833.85 ($104.23 more)
973rd to 1872nd: 899 spots paying $938.08 ($104.23 more)
253rd to 972nd: 719 spots paying $1,042.32 ($104.24 more)

It seems like a very slow and steady climb, like I figure it should be. Then suddenly from 252nd on, the payouts go like this:

226th to 252nd: 26 spots paying $1,563.48 ($521.16 more)
199th to 225th: 26 spots paying $2,084.64 ($521.16 more)
172nd to 198th: 26 spots paying $2,605.80 ($521.16 more)

The payouts increase every 26 spots in increments of $521. Does that seem weird to anybody else? Seems like if you can make it down to that magic number of 252nd it's much more worth you time to hang on for larger payouts. To put it another way, to hang in from 356th to 252nd (104 spots) there will be no pay increases and you will make the same amount of money. To hang in from 252nd to 144th (same number of spots) there are 4 pay increases and you will make +$3126.96 more.

Is this standard?
