From Dan Fleyshman Facebook....

Do you think it's possible for someone to eat $1,000 worth of McDonalds food in 36 hours???

Before you answer, here's the stipulations of Matt Savage prob bet Vs. Mike Noori, that's happening May 20th weekend. (Yes this is very real.)

Up to $200 allowed to be spent on salads.

Drinks don't count towards the $1,000 budget.

Can only vomit once, no drugs allowed.

Exact terms of bet.

As per Matt Savage:Eat $1,000 worth of McDonalds.
$200 max on salads.
At least $300 on hot foods (fries, burgers, chicken). At least $50 of that has to be burgers!
Can drink but drinks don't count towards total. (Can't order meals with drinks)
Cannot remove items from order
Can add to existing order (bacon on burgers)
Must eat everything that comes with order.
No blender, must eat it as it comes.
Puke ok, forced puke or repeated puke DQ.

Must always have impartial observer with.
No inflated pricing McDs (airports)

5-1 odds. 36 hours (noon 5/19 to midnight 5/21).

Do you need to eat the toy/gift if you order a happy meal? Seems like optimal play if you dont

That doesn't sound close to being possible. I can't imagine eating $100 worth of McDonalds food in 36 hours.

I don't know what's stupider, that this is a thread, or that this is a bet. But this is so ridiculous that I'm going to be a hypocrite and post in a thread I've called stupid.

Why would anyone think it's possible to eat 100+ meals in 36 hours?

I've never heard of a prop bet that's so incredibly one-sided, and that should be blindingly obvious that it is. I can't see any way that someone is taking this bet with sincere hopes that they're going to win, no matter what the odds. If it's possibly to eat oneself to death, it would happen long before $1,000 in 36 hours.

My only explanation for this is that Fleyshman has taken a propbet to see if he could get anyone to take this joke seriously.

Noori is probably about even money to give up before he gets to $200

I thought it was impossible as well but the trick is the extras they sell for a large amount of money.

He's planning on using $500 to buy the packages of apple slices. Each bag is $1 and has only 15 calories. You can also spend a bunch of money and get guacamole and bacon addons for things. I think it'll be very very hard, but possible.

Ah, of course, should've realized there would be a smarter way to do this. Still, that's 15,000 calories if it was all apple slices; do they have anything that's a worse $/calorie ratio?

Even then, I don't know if this is possible. Looking through ridiculous competitive eating challenges, they seem to fall into the 5-10,000 calorie range, and I don't expect a lot more food consumption is happening for them within 36 hours.

Hope they can find a McDonald's that stocks a LOT of apple slices and other addons.

Oh yeah, those Create Your Taste add-ons for the burgers can really add up fast. Seem to remember giving the burger a try when it first came out - and adding a premium bun, premium cheese, a couple of leafs of lettuce, a couple of slices of tomato, some sauteed onions, and some jalapenos wound up putting the burger well above $10 (Canadian)?

They may have even more veggie toppings available in the US, do they? To keep the burgers healthy

There are some supposed 50k challenges on YouTube, but hard to know what's fake and what's real. I can't even guess how plausible that is or is not, as I doubt I've ever eaten more than 4k in a day.

He won't get scurvy, but consuming five hundred times the RDA of vitamin C is going to cause an awful lot of diarrhea and vomit.

The ones with 80lb japanese girls are real. The rest are fake.

This prop doesn't even seem close to possible.

If he did only nuggets:

$5 per 20 nugget box
That's 200 boxes of nuggets
That's 4000 nuggets
That's 111.11 nuggets/hour spread over 36 hours
That's 1.85 nuggets/minute

THAT'S TOO MANY NUGGETS

My local fish and chip shop is awful. Their food seems to race through me.
If I bought enough food there, I'd probably be dumping at a faster rate than I could eat.

Seems pretty impossible, I find it a hefty struggle plowing through $20 of mcdonalds on a drunken night and my body feels the pain, I would guess something like $300 would have been a better bet and very hard to accomplish

Agreed, line should probably be much higher than 5 to 1.

500 apples in 36 hours sounds like it would tear your insides with all that acidity.
