No person has ever staked me in my lifetime and I did not out Eli in 9 years. I have no social media and had no idea Eli had a book or Ame until days ago when I was called by a high ranking casino side of the business. I was shocked and suprised my name was used . He asked me to speak with DS and I have many times in the past few days. I got to tell you I was on the fence about it and not slept well. I decided today to speak out after Eli sent me texts of threats about my family most likely scared I was going to out him. If he had not had made such a stupid and actually a illegal decision to do that you would of never heard from me. Im not sure yet what I can say at this point. I can say this disappointed that Eli pushed me to this point when it could have been really simple. I really do not think Eli is so insane yet to come on here and call me a liar but so be it. Figure is 853k. A loan not a gambling debt.

As it seems Eli's debts to Cts and Deeb are just a tip of an iceberg, it baffles me that he really thought he could get away with doing ama like this and answer questions such way as he did

My opinion is so that I do not believe Mason M was informed about Eli and did not know.

Personally I think Mason publishing the book is fine. At least it gives Mason some leverage in this situation.

I think it’s only fair for everyone to know so he can’t keep taking advantage of others, pretty sick to be going around playing 10ks , having book signings etc when u owe someone just under a million dollars, and tell everyone you pay all your debts.

It was the dumbest thing I have ever done and take take responsibilty for the loan. I would appreciate if you guys would not bash my family for they have been hurt enough from Eli and the stupid thing I did out of good faith to a person I thought was a friend. I love it how there is always 'confusion' when it comes to paying back debts but its all so simple when receiving loans.

Wow the threats put a whole new light on Eli imo.

Public shaming ASAP and especially before someone is about to make money from people believing they are buying a book from a poker star is very commendable. It warns others about dealings with dishonest person and it warns potential buyers of the book.

Outing someone is risky because your chances to get money back are significantly lowered once reputation of the borrower is no longer in play and you may force retaliation as well. Not many things in gambling world deserve more praise and admiration than taking personal risk to warn others about dealings with the scammer. I hope CTS and others in this thread are safe and inspire those who were duped as well to come forward.

Maybe Eli was thinking this book would be some kind of vehicle to score new loans from unsuspecting people.

You have to imagine he calculated this could blow up but he's in dire straits and it's a desperation move.

Eli borrwong so much money from so many people given the circumstances at the time as well as his gambling addiction to the high stakes is i guess understandable, its the fact that he clearly feels he can take as long as he wishes and even fter so many years still feels that even when he has money from n MTT score that he doesnt hve to pay. I can nly assume that this behaviour is induced by having more debts, mor epeople to pay with higher or much higher urgency then Cole or Abe. It was a mistake to take the route he did , first of all by coming here and thinking his debts would not surface out and then the way he handled the situation after. He should have said openly, i owe money to some people i am trying to pay them back but i cant , please buy my book so i can repay my debts,..and maybe none of the people who are owed money would come out...but clearly he is not able to humble himself and would rather take the agressive route with some , while bluffing on all streets in NVG until he gets cought and now he is facing more humiliation, cleary deserved
