In addition, I told Eli before we started this project that we didn't think that sales would be that good anyway. So those of you who think that Eli was going to line his pockets from his royalty were never right in the first place, and are certainly wrong now.

Good response Mason and fair play to all parties involved in this debacle (except Elezra for being naive enough this would go over smoothly). I've always appreciated that 2+2 publishing holds a high moral ground with regard to what is and what is not published, and its understandable this one may have slipped by. On another note,
Real Poker Psychology was a great read and many concepts still stick in my mind today for the optimal approach in handling variance. Mainly finding humor in both bad beats and ridiculous statistical outliers that are bound to occur at some point. If someone struggles seriously with tilt and keeping their cool I highly recommend Mason Malmuths book.
Okay real quickly - back to the villain in question. Personally never met Eli Elezra, but just the whole aurora about him being some business man was always met with skepticism (probably not only person that felt this way) and in general someone that seemed very untrustworthy - although hindsight is clearly 20/20 and sometimes its hard to exactly pinpoint the extent of ones shady history without the cold hard facts.
