What do you hope to accomplish out of all this? IF going to court and getting him in jail is your main focus thats cool and worth the time and aggravation, but i dont see any other reason,.
Really? You'd don't see any other reason why someone who was robbed for close to a million dollars would go public when the guy who robbed him was selling an autobiography and (in part) promoting this book by claiming on a public forum that he always paid all his debts?

I think its clear to virtually everyone who isn't in a vegetative state that Mason and 2+2 didn't know about all the skeletons in Eli's closet. As has been stated, even if the book was "successful" the odds of even recouping the $20k they spent publishing the book were slim to none, given the current poker book market. Its absurd to think 2+2 should be responsible for doing some kind of in-depth background check for the honor of losing money on a book publication. In fact, I give Mason and 2+2 credit for taking the financial risk (small though may if have been) to publish this kind of book because it sounded like the kind of book that would have been of interest to those of us in the poker community (absent the subsequent revelations).
