Played with him all of day 6. Hes actually a pretty nice guy imo. He just doesn't understand english very well so gives off that appearance.

i googled him and found out he (or someone with his exact name who is 35 and czech) has like 2000+ ELO in chess and played quite a bit it seems

i too find myself being a big staszko fan.

yep, its him.. googled it as well and found some local chess web where he is linked to Trinec which is his hometown

TID! phenomenal success since Skampa took down EPT Prague here, only bad luck is, being an older guy, hes not that fluent in english

In a different way. Smart calm chess player would definitely help poker get the image of a skill game.

BTW what did Cada or Duhamel or Eastgate do for the game? The whole ambassador of poker is just a stupid expression.

I thought his counter-stare to Benba's was top notch.

Especially since the way they squeezed ten players into a nine-seat table, their noses were practically touching.

Being a geeky nerdy engineer myself, I was diggin' this guy the most at the table since that's the vibe he was eminating with the shirt and all. Love it!
