With the Launch of RIO and the other Sites stepping up i feel like there is finally a Chance that Stars will go down at some Point unless they improve massivly ( or just get back to what made them the biggest site, not rocket science rly to run an already running Company like that ).

RIO took like 3 years to make a website with like 1% of the features that pokerstars have & that's also not including the fact that stars have billions of $ behind them in marketing & first to market advantage. The only thing that will help poker is if markets open up to the rest of the world again.

Lmao, the chest rewards are already pathetic. What is the point of chopping them in half? At this point there is no way the pennies they save will outweigh the damage to goodwill and the effect of driving players' volume to other sites.

This is not just another kick in teeth to players, its actually negative for Stars bottom line.

You overestimate people or specifically pokerplayers. After how they handled things in the past in other industries such a company would be bankrupt in alot of cases. They know by now that no matter how hard they **** or outright scam the vast majority of players wont move. The only people who are moving are the ones who putting ethics over their actual bottom line & there arent many of those people within the poker industry and also most of those who do have moved their volume a long time ago...

Back in the day i used to play Sky Poker's 2p/4p tables NLHE and win like 200 to 400 quid a month. I played all day long most days. At the end of the month i used to average between 80 and 120 quid in rakeback. You'd see the slider move and your monetary goal. Every milestone came with another small boost in RB%. At the end of the month they just added whatever you had earned to your account, and put the slider back to 0.

It was awesome and simple.

Stars' idiotic rb systems are hopelessly complicated and pointless and give a **** %. I quit stars purely due to earning barely anything whilst breaking even.

Stars have bought sky poker now.

What is the highest cash prize anyone has received on this? What about a tournament ticket? So basically anyone that plays higher stakes whether cash, mtt or sng get higher prices right? The last few times i opened these chests, im getting a few starcoins... like cents.


Also with chests... rb is between like 1-3 percent now? I don't think im getting anymore than say 3 percent max from adding those starcoins.

i played for like 14 hours, 8 tabling plo2-10 and earned like $6 from these silly chests, in $2 increments.

Now i get to pay 1250 for exactly 50 cents at the first level (blue) according to the info on the website... simple but whats the point of even opening a chest? I actually got only 42 starscoins and some points for the next chest.

After completing just one blue, I got bumped up to the second level (bronze) and the requirement is now 5950 to earn at least 60 cents up to 12 bucks?!?! So they guarantee you will get back at least 1% with a chance for up to 20% unless they throw in some coupons or something for a little extra value

at least the new chart with the odds doesn't show in the millions... we have a one percent chance to win the biggest prize now! hahaha

I'm curious what the requirements for the higher levels will be. I guess i'll find out in a week or so what the next level is. Just at a glance, the new amounts seem more uniform and the amounts seem to go up more linear than before. If so then i guess the highest chest (black) will be in the area of 350000 points. Correct me if I'm wrong...
