Hi Guys,

I recently moved to Belgium, opened up an PS account so i can play at my lab and home. I provided all sort of documents, get my mobile and bank account verified and started to play.

After a week, they restricted my account says following:

Quote:
We've temporarily restricted your account as part of a routine review to verify your current location.

It's come to our attention that you're connecting to our site via a VPN, proxy, or similar service. We don't endorse the use of such service. All players are required to give accurate information, and this includes location:

"The User must provide full and truthful information in respect of all details and information provided by the User to The Stars Group and the User is obligated to update such details in the event of any change thereto."

Our General Terms are available at:
www.pokerstars.BE/tos/

What should I do next?
Please access your account without the use of the current VPN/proxy you've recently been using via the computer you used for your most recent login. Contact us once you've completed your login, so we can review your account further.

In moving forward, also send us the following:

Front and back of a government-issued photo ID document (passport, driver’s license, ID card).
A recent utility bill or bank statement which clearly shows your full name, current address, and statement date (no older than 3 months). We can't accept bank statements from online banks such as Revolut, Monese, Monzo, Atom, N26, Pockit Ltd, etc.
You can upload your documents via our desktop software, mobile app, or website.
So i complied their request, tried to connect directly from my home, but it seems their system still think i'm using VPN, and i tried use my mobile's data share with my PC, and it works. they reinstated my account.

but it raises me a Serious question, because i really like to play on PokerStars, but in my lab, i need constantly connect a remote lab in Japan to access crutial data(not that need my attention but it will be required to gather those updated informations), so If anyone can tell me May I keep play in my lab with time to time i connect to VPN which might shows my location as Japan.(but i passed their location exam or verify test, and sent them my ID, working paper, house rental contract etc, so basically they can confirm i'm who i'm and where i am --- "Belgium")

kinda desperate, next thing i'm about to do if they didn't reinstate my account is i bought a local paper and pointed it out next to pokerstars app with my account logged in. -,,-

Thanks alot for any answer and helps!!

don't understand much to your setup, but for example Mullvad VPN is able to "split" the traffic and exclude selected apps from the tunneled traffic, like this:
