Hey guys just wanted to put this up just to make ppl aware that it's happening, if anything like this account tries to contact you on skype.. Just don't except... I emailed stars with the info straight away and they said the account was known to them and skype and would be shut down by the end of the day.
This account added me on skype as Pokerstars Online Support, pretty lol... but either way I excepted and it just tilted the hell outa me... They were trying to make calls to me via skype while I was grinding. I just blocked it and marked as abusive.

Ive had this a ridic amount lately. I don't even respond, just instantly block them. Even had them trying to call me, it's pretty annoying in middle of session with bunch of tables running bc they just keep calling even if you keep declining...

There has been a thread about this recently in MTTc.

Guess they just search people who's skype account name is the same as their PS screenname, how else can they possibly know who plays poker and who doesn't.

TBH i don't know, like I had a fair session up it was during wed 80k etc and i'm guessing they just saw me at the table's and thought... yeh, i'll have this guy, lol...

You want to have it set in options to where only your friends list can contact you. Anyone can send you a message or call you and you don't even have to respond. Just them initiating the connection with you will allow them to easily see your ip address and use that knowledge for whatever purpose.

it's not unheard of for people to attack others this way

why would they go after fadsy's account tho... it's not like there's any money in there
